Day 01: Cusco – Cachora – Chiquispa
We leave Cusco at 6:00am and arrive in Cachora (3100 m / 10,170 ft above sea level) at approx. 10:00 am. Here, we will meet the horses and porters and from this point our trek begins along a gently sloping path. Along this path, we will have our first views of the peaks of Padravoc (5,482m) and Wayna Cachora. Part way along, we will take a short rest on the Capuliyoc pass (2900 m / 9,514 ft above sea level) from where we will have a panoramic view of the Apurímac valley. Later, we will make our descent, taking in the beauty of the landscape and warm climate until arriving at Chiquisqa (1930 m). Here we will camp the first night. (Lunch and dinner)

Day 02: Chiquisca – Playa Rosalina – Sunchupata
After breakfast (5:00am), we will continue our trek towards Playa Rosalina (1550 m / 5,085 ft), before the more challenging ascent towards Santa Rosa (2100 m / 6,889 ft) where we will have lunch. Then we will climb up to Maranpata (2850 m / 9,350 ft) which is a gentler climb and during which, one can appreciate the view of first day’s trail and as well as the vegetation of the area. Following this, we will trek a straight section to Sunchupata, where we will have dinner and camp. From this point, we are just 1 hour from Choquequirao. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner).

Day 03: Sunchupata – Choquequirao – Chiquisqa
After an early breakfast we will head towards Choquequirao to watch the sunrise, and then visit the ruins for three hours, accompanied by a guide who will explain to us this important Incan settlement and the importance of the Apurímac and Rio Blanco rivers. We will also be able to appreciate the mountain range of Vilcabamba. After the guided tour, we will begin to return to Sunchupata and will descend to Santa Rosa, before then going down to playa Rosalina. Finally, we will head toward the village of Chiquisqa where we will camp the night. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner).

Day 04: Chiquisqa – Capuliyoc – Cachora
Following an energising breakfast in Chiquisqa (6:00am) we will follow the same trail to Capuliypc and from here it is two more hours before we arrive in the town of Cachora at approx. 12:00pm. This section is more gentle and along the way, we will be able to appreciate exotic flora and fauna of the area, as well as views of mighty peaks and the impressive Apurimac canyon. Then, we will continue to the city of Cusco, arriving at the hotel in the afternoon. Here ends the tour.
