CoropunaIt is snowy third largest and highest in Peru, with an altitude of 6425 meters. It is located about 150 km northwest of Arequipa.

Travel Program


Itinerary

Day 01: Arequipa - Pallarcocha Lake 4200 m / 13,779 ft
Departure from Arequipa at 4 pm to the camp of Pallarcocha Lake. Where our camp will be after the 8 hours by bus.

Day 02: Pallarcocha Lake - Base Camp 5200 m / 17,060 ft
Early breakfast, we begin our walk to the camp 5450 m, where we will have a magical view to solimana and sara sara.

Day 03: Base Camp - Summit 6425 m / 21,079 ft - Pallarcocha Lake - Arequipa
This day we will begin our ascent very early at 1 am, arrival at the summit where we will appreciate an impressive view. Then we begin to descend to Base Camp and continue until the end of transport. Return to Arequipa at night.
